Senior Backend Engineer, Forecasting

About the role

Veyro Forecast turns messy CRM, email and billing data into a number revenue leaders stake their credibility on. As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Forecasting team, you’ll own the services that ingest millions of activity events a day, reconcile them into a single source of truth and serve forecasts in milliseconds. You’ll work closely with our ML engineers — and you’ll ship to customers every week.

What you’ll do

• Design and scale the ingestion pipelines that sync Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong and Stripe data in near real time

• Build the APIs behind forecast roll-ups, scenario planning and the board-ready export

• Own reliability for a service customers open every Monday morning — on-call is shared, sane and paid

• Partner with ML engineers to productionize new models, from feature stores to backtesting

• Help shape our engineering culture as we grow from 40 to 70 engineers

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years building backend systems in production, ideally in Go, Kotlin or TypeScript

• Deep experience with Postgres and a streaming system such as Kafka or Kinesis

• A habit of measuring before optimizing — and of writing things down

• Curiosity about how revenue teams work; no sales background required

• Bonus: experience with time-series data or financial reporting
